High levels of phosphorus have been shown to damage oxygen sensors and poison catalytic converters. Sulphated ash deposits shorten engine life and foul spark plugs. Yamalube formulas use high quality, advanced additive packages that minimize ash deposits. As a result, our sulphated ash levels are far below those of our competitors and the JASO MA maximum.

What is Volatility? Motorcycles, especially competition bikes, run at high rpm and high temperatures. The last thing you need is oil evaporation endangering the performance and life of your engine. For critical protection at high temperatures, choose a low-volatility oil. Volatility refers to an oil’s propensity for evaporation at high temperatures. The lower an oil’s volatility, the less it evaporates and the better protection it provides.
Yamalube 5W-30 and 10W-40 have far and away the lowest oil volatility and highest quality base oils on the market. What does this mean for a rider? It means reduced oil consumption between oil changes, lower emissions and enhanced fuel efficiency.
